It’s that time of year. Several former Pokes are getting their first taste of NFL training camp as the last few teams are set to convene on Friday.
Let’s take a look at the early showings, what some former Cowboys were doing during the summer and what position battles are forthcoming.
Rudolph – Heir Apparent?
In just a handful of summer workouts, all-time leading Cowboy gunslinger Mason Rudolph seemed to impress those in the Steel City, even Ben Roethlisberger, his new de facto mentor. The QB2 job is Rudolph’s immediate goal and he’s not yet earned it.
