Mike Boynton Address Players, Says OSU Should Compete for National Titles

Newly-named men’s basketball coach Mike Boynton said last weekend that his number one priority (or 1A) was the current players on the roster. OSU tweeted out a video of Boynton in what was presumably his first formal meeting with the team.

Notably present was Jeffrey Carroll and notably absent was Jawun Evans.

Boynton went on to talk about his core principles for the program and even talked about his first memory of Oklahoma State basketball, when Bryant Reeves broke a backboard in a Final Four practice in 1995.

“We’ve got a chance to build something really, really special here,” said Boynton.
