Snow cascaded from the sky as the almost-strangers traveled from the airport to the Oklahoma State campus.
Arjun Kadhe had never met coach Jay Udwadia in person before. He also had never seen a snowfall.
At first, Kadhe’s road trip from Oklahoma City with Udwadia and Pepe Caballero, the Cowboys’ former assistant coach, wasn’t filled with conversation. Kadhe had a quiet, reserved demeanor, but he soon opened up to Udwadia, who was instantly impressed with his character.
“He was just real soft-spoken, just kinda smiling,” Udwadia said. “It was an hour drive, so I got to know him even more.
