A highly-decorated player with the Vikings, Williams was selected to six Pro Bowls and named All-Pro five times. Williams was a Pro Bowler in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and First-Team AP All-Pro in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

"Kevin was one of the most respected players in Vikings history by his teammates and by opponents," said Vikings GM Rick Spielman.
