Oklahoma State's softball team swept its first two games of the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic on Thursday in the tournament's opening day.
No. 20 OSU defeated No. 13 Arizona State, 2-0, and then beat North Carolina, 7-5, to move to 9-3 on the season.
Right fielder Michaela Richbourg drove in both Cowgirls' runs in the win over Arizona State, hitting an RBI single in the fourth inning and belting a solo homer in the sixth, her fifth of the season.
In the circle, Samantha Show (3-1) delivered her third complete game of the season, striking out three and walking only one over seven innings.
