Second half adjustments led to a Cowgirls’ victory and double digit wins going into conference play.
The OSU Cowgirls advance into Big 12 conference play with a 10-2 record after their 62-44 win over the Air Force Falcons on Tuesday afternoon.
The first half was a very tightly contested defensive game with less than 50 points scored over all. The Cowgirls led the Falcons 17-12 after the first quarter, but things started to turn against the Cowgirls in the second.
The Falcons controlled the end of the second quarter on a 9-0 run. The Cowgirls were unable to score late in the first half only getting 8 points in the quarter.
