Cowgirls fall to Sooners in Norman

Oklahoma State's Michela Ongaro had seven saves in a Bedlam match Friday in Norman, but the Cowgirls fell 1-0.

Throughout the match Oklahoma State struggled to create chances and OU was relentless in their attack as they picked up the 1-0 victory.

The lone goal came with 9:13 left in the match as OU played the ball short on a corner. After beating an initial challenge from an OSU defender, the Sooner player crossed ball into the box eventually finding the head of sophomore Kaylee Dao, who dispatched it into the bottom left corner.

Although this was a nonconference matchup, the fact that it was Bedlam still resonated with the players and fans as a crowd of 1,886 turned out at John Crain field.
