Karyn Guttormsen talks to coach Chris Young while playing against Louisiana Tech on Jan. 17 at the Michael and Anne Greenwood Tennis Center. Monday, OSU Athletics announced Young had signed two new players.
Coach Chris Young signed Katarina Stresnakova and Lena Ruppert. Stresnakova, a native of Nova Dedinka, Slovakia, will join the Cowgirls in January and be ready to go for the spring season.
Stresnakova has been ranked No. 140 in the ITF junior rankings, 939 in the WTA singles rankings and 753 in the WTA doubles rankings.
“I am very excited to have Katarina join our program in January,” Young said in a press release.
