STILLWATER — The Cowboys left Thursday for their weekend series at Texas, returning Sunday with long bus rides bookending their Big 12 baseball trip.
There was weather, too, or at least a threat of weather, wiping out Friday's scheduled opener even though little rain fell in Austin.
Still, despite the delay and all the extended hours traveling north and south on I-35, the trip was joyous for Oklahoma State. The Cowboys pulled off a sweep of the Longhorns to climb into second place in the Big 12 standings and move back into the conversation as a national contender.
