Mike Boynton smiled as an assemblage of media members surrounded him in a semicircle on Eddie Sutton Court.
"This is another new one for me," Boynton said jokingly. "I think I got nine players eligible for practice. I keep myself in shape, maybe I'll help out a little bit."
Boynton, Oklahoma State's second-year men's basketball coach, smiled through a tough situation as he met with the media on Wednesday afternoon to discuss his recent decision to release three players from the OSU men's basketball program because of a violation of team rules.
Redshirt sophomore guard Michael Weathers and freshman forwards Maurice Calloo and Kentrevious Jones are no longer with the program, OSU athletics announced in a press release Wednesday morning.
