Four Oklahoma State wrestlers won Southern Scuffle individual titles Wednesday at McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
OSU’s No. 12-ranked Kaden Gfeller had the upset of the finals with a 3-2 victory over No. 6 Mitch Finesilver of Duke at 149 pounds. Cowboy heavyweight Derek White, ranked No. 6, held off a late rally by No. 3 Anthony Cassar of Penn State for a 3-2 victory.
OSU’s No. 4-ranked Nick Piccininni handled Northern Colorado’s Rico Montoya 7-2 at 125, and No. 6 Daton Fix secured the 133 title with a 7-3 victory with riding time over No. 9 Austin Gomez of Iowa State.
