How he got to OSU

The three-star DeSoto (Texas) product turned down offers from the likes of Oklahoma, Colorado, Cal and Louisville to play at Oklahoma State. A two-year starter at cornerback, Green fit the mold of rangy and athletic cornerbacks OSU has focused on in recruiting.

Gundy talked about the new wave of cover men at OSU after a recent practice.

“We’ve had to move guys around back there for a number of years and I think now we’ve finally settled on some young players that can stay there and have the bodies to play that position for a number of years,” said Gundy.
