Oklahoma State football: Mason Rudolph to make home debut as Cowboys' starting quarterback in spring game

STILLWATER — Quarterback Mason Rudolph has spent plenty of time this spring discussing the future of Oklahoma State football.

Over and again, reporters asked questions about the development of the offensive line, depth at wide receiver, the ongoing running back battle and more.

But in a moment of recent self-reflection, Rudolph recalled the days when he was the third-stringer still adjusting to the college game. So much has changed in 12 months.

“Sometimes it’s cool to sit back,” Rudolph said, “and reflect on how blessed you are and how far you've come.”

In his three career starts — a loss at Baylor, a win at OU and a Cactus Bowl victory against Washington — Rudolph completed 49-of-86 passes (57 percent) for 853 yards with six touchdowns and four interceptions.
