Switzer pitches Trump on 'secretary of offense'

NEW YORK -- Former Dallas Cowboys coach Barry Switzer has made his case to be the new "secretary of offense."

Switzer, a college football Hall of Fame coach who led the Cowboys to a Super Bowl title in 1996, visited with President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday in New York.

Switzer joked that Trump wants to "make the wishbone great again."

"Donald plans to run with the ball. And I know a lot about rushing the football. So that's why I'm here," Switzer told reporters before his meeting with Trump.
