OU softball great Lauren Chamberlain headlines ESPN all-time team

As far as college softball first basemen go, Lauren Chamberlain is the People's Champ.

Fans selected the former OU great as the sport's all-time best in a poll released Tuesday night by ESPN's 7Innings Podcast. Chamberlain, who ended her Sooner career in 2015 with an NCAA-record 95 home runs, had the largest margin of victory in the voting with 42.9% of the vote among the eight finalists.

Here's the full 11-player squad:

Catcher: Aubree Munro, Florida (2013-16)

First base: Lauren Chamberlain, Oklahoma (2011-14)

Second base: Sierra Romero, Michigan (2013-16)

Shortstop: Sis Bates, Washington (2017-2021)

Third base: Kasey Cooper, Auburn (2014-17)

Utility: Rachel Garcia, UCLA (2016-21)

Outfield: Jessica Mendoza, Stanford (1999-2002)

Outfield: Leah O'Brien-Amico, Arizona (1993-97)
