Sooner junior Yul Moldauer won his first national title, finishing first in the all-around at this year’s P&G Championships, and was awarded Sportsperson of the Year by the USA Gymnastics organization. He was named to the U.S. team, which will compete in the World Championships, to be held Oct. 2-8 in Montreal.
Oklahoma men’s coach Mark Williams was named Coach of the Year for the fourth time, and former Sooner gymnast Alex Naddour was named USA Gymnastics Athlete of the Year.
Williams has led the Sooners to eight national championships in 16 seasons at Oklahoma.
