Oklahoma's Taylor Alspaugh Named To Big 12 Baseball All-Tournament Team

The Big 12 Baseball Tournament Championship concluded on Sunday afternoon with the Texas Longhorns taking home to the title, and automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament, by way of a 6-3 win over Oklahoma State. Shortly after UT carried the championship trophy off the field the conference released the All-Tournament team in which Oklahoma's Taylor Alspaugh was named.

Catcher - Tres Barrera, Texas

First Base - Dustin Williams, Oklahoma State

Second Base - Brooks Marlow, Texas

Shortstop - Donnie Walton, Oklahoma State

Third Base - Bret Boswell, Texas

Outfield - Kameron Esthay, Baylor

Outfield - Taylor Alspaugh, Oklahoma

Outfield - Zane Gurwitz, Texas

Designated Hitter - Joe Baker, Texas

Starting Pitcher - Michael Freeman, Oklahoma State

Starting Pitcher - Connor Mayes, Texas

Starting Pitcher - Parker French, Texas

Relief Pitcher - Trey Cobb, Oklahoma State

Clearly, by looking at this all-conference team, the Longhorns and Cowboys were the two best teams in Tulsa.
