OU softball defeats Louisville, loses to Tennessee at tournament
No. 4 Oklahoma won its first game vs. Louisville before losing its second game No. 15 Tennessee at the Mary Nutter Classic in Palm Spring, Calif. on Thursday.
The Sooners defeated Louisville 2-1 in the first game. Paige Lowary pitched a complete game and struck out seven in the win. Caleigh Clifton scored the go-ahead run in the fifth inning after a Louisville throwing error.
Tennessee defeated OU 2-1 in the second game. Chelsea Seggern drove in both Tennessee runs with a two-out single in the second inning.
