Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield required to take alcohol education, perform community service after public intoxication arrest

Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield will be require to undergo university alcohol education and perform 35 hours of community service, some of which will include working with law enforcement, following his Feb. 25 public intoxication arrest in Fayetteville, Ark., the program announced Thursday.

Mayfield is required to complete the sanctions before the start of the fall semester, according to a news release. He will not be miss any playing time as a result of the incident.

"As I stated earlier, I could not be more disappointed in my actions and the embarrassment they caused for my university and team," Mayfield said in the release.
