It’s been a couple of days since the Oklahoma football program wrapped up its major summer recruiting event calendar with the “Party at the Palace” for uncommitted 2024 recruiting targets.
On Tuesday, the Sooners earned their second commitment from a prospect that was in attendance at that weekend event.
Three-star QB Brendan Zubrugg flipped his commitment to Northwestern and committed to Oklahoma as a member of the 2024 class. Zurbrugg had committed to Northwestern on June 26 but after the dismissal of Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald amid hazing allegations, the 6-foot, 4-inch QB prospect elected to reopen his recruiting.
