Oklahoma football: Gundy, Bedenbaugh named co-offensive coordinators

But only one of the three will be calling plays, and that will be former offensive coordinator and now head coach Lincoln Riley.

On Friday, Riley announced that offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh and inside receivers coach Cale Gundy will also share responsibilities as co-offensive coordinators.

I’m not quite sure what that means, but I suspect that Bendenbaugh and Gundy will be responsible for coming up with an offensive game plan while Riley will retain his role of calling the plays.

Bedenbaugh is in his fifth season on the Sooner coaching staff.
