Oklahoma honored long-time KFOR sports director Bob Barry Jr. in the press box at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
Barry died in a scooter accident June 20 in Oklahoma City.
His normal seat in the press box had a name card with “In Memoriam” on top and “The University of Oklahoma Remembers Bob Barry Jr.” on the bottom.
On the inside of the pillars on either side of the KFOR seats were photo collages of Barry, with “We miss you BBJ” on one and “It’s not the same without you, BBJ” on the other.
Earlier this week, Sooners coach Bob Stoops started his weekly press conference with remarks about Barry.
