NORMAN — Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield and running back Samaje Perine are listed among the top college football players expected to make a run at the Heisman Trophy according to updated odds released Monday by SuperBook.ag.
Mayfield — the fourth-place finisher in last year’s Heisman voting — is listed at 10-1 odds.
Perine, who has rushed for 3,062 yards and 37 touchdowns in two seasons on campus, is at 20-1 odds.
The current Heisman favorite is Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson at 5-1, followed by Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey (6-1), LSU running back Leonard Fournette (6-1) and then Mayfield.
