Oklahoma fans haven't been this excited for football season in, well, just about two years.
The Sooners' 2015 campaign was marked by the emergence of quarterback Baker Mayfield, one of the top Heisman candidates entering this season. Mayfield, who earned back a year of eligibility lost when he transferred from Texas Tech after his freshman season, led OU to an 11-2 mark and a College Football Playoff berth behind 3,700 yards passing and 36 touchdowns.
