Tyrus Thompson was the 185th overall selection in the NFL Draft, going to the Minnesota Vikings in the sixth round.
The former OU left tackle became the fifth Sooner to be drafted, following Dorial Green-Beckham, Jordan Phillips, Daryl Williams and Blake Bell.
Thompson started 29 games over the last three seasons on the Sooners' offensive line, including all 13 games a year ago.
The 6-foot-5, 324-pounder from Pflugerville (Texas) High School is married with two young children.
