Sylvester Turner is the mayor of Houston.
He's also a graduate of the University of Houston. And he just provided some offseason bulletin board material for OU as the Sooners football team heads into its season opener against the Cougars on Sept. 3 at NRG Stadium in Houston.
In a Q&A with UH Magazine, Turner was asked if he has secured his 2016 season tickets for Cougars football yet. Turner proceeded to predict that his alma mater will essentially blow out the Sooners.
I will be at the first game against Oklahoma.
