The Quick Lane Bowl the day after Christmas will be Paul Johnson's last at Georgia Tech, ending a pretty good run. Qualified for nine bowls in 11 years, including the '14 Orange Bowl, when the Yellow Jackets and their prehistoric option offense stoned Dak Prescott and Mississippi State. Johnson says he's not sure he's done, but, after 40 years in the business and 189 wins, fourth among active FBS coaches, "it's time to take a break."
Time, also, for Johnson to catch a break from your intrepid reporter.
