5 Best Places To Eat After an Oklahoma Football Victory

As far as college towns go, Norman might be one of the most underrated in the country. With great places to eat, drink, and party, there's a lot to love about Norman - and we're starting off our breakdown of the town's attractions with The Top 5 Places to Eat in Norman After an Oklahoma Football Victory. Boomer!

5. The Mont

1300 Classen Blvd Norman, OK 73071

Home of the Famous Sooner Swirl, the Mont isn't optional for Sooner diehards or visiting fans.

You aren't legally required to get a Swirl when in Norman, but you probably should be (be careful of the imminent brain freeze, though), and the Swirl tastes even better after a Sooner victory.

Getting some queso to go with your Swirl is always a good call as well.

4. Tarahumara's Mexican Cafe & Cantina

702 N Porter Ave Norman, OK 73071

This is the go-to spot for Mexican/Tex-Mex food in Norman. Tarahumara's has authentic delicious Tex Mex, from the chile Colorado to the toreados.

The portion size is huge for every dish, providing you with plenty of bang for your buck. The sizzling fajitas are some of the best you'll find anywhere.

3. Hideaway Pizza

577 Buchanan Ave Norman, OK 73069

Just a stone's throw from campus, Hideaway Pizza is the best pizza joint in town.

If you spend long enough in Norman, you'll inevitably hear someone talk about how they wish Hideaway would deliver.

The Boz pizza is a must-have at when dining at Hideaway as well.

2. Benvenuti's Ristorante

105 W Main St Norman, OK 73019

We didn't think there would be amazing Italian food in Oklahoma, particularly in a college town, but Benvenuti's proved us horribly wrong.

The food is rich and the portions are big, providing Oklahoma fans with one of the most delicious meals in town. Benvenuti's is a great spot to take your significant other after the game if you need to earn some brownie points.

1. Rudy's Country Store & Bar-B-Q

3450 Chautauqua Ave Norman, OK 73072

We had to put a barbecue joint in the top spot when going over places to eat in Norman, and it would be hard to find one better than Rudy's while you're in town.

Rudy's has great everything - from smoked turkey to banana pudding - plus all the barbecue staples, like ribs, pulled pork, brisket and smoked sausage. It's a no-frills kind of place, making it a perfect spot to check out after a Sooner victory.
