Thunder journal: Adams leaves OKC win with ankle injury

Steven Adams got off to a fast start on Sunday.

The Thunder center was in for a quick finish.

Adams left Sunday's 101-92 win against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday at Chesapeake Energy Arena with what the Thunder said was a left ankle sprain and did not return.

He had seven points on 3-for-3 shooting and three rebounds in 8:43 before leaving the game.
