The public back-and-forth between Thunder forward Kevin Durant and ESPN's Stephen A. Smith took another turn Monday when Smith fired back at Durant on ESPN's First Take in a segment that lasted close to 15 minutes.
Smith's latest volley came in response to Durant's comments on Friday. The Thunder star said Smith was “lying” and “making up stories” about him being primarily interested in going to L.A. in free agency if he doesn't re-sign with Oklahoma City.

“Kevin Durant is the last person on earth that should be going off on the media like that,” Smith said in a portion of his segment.
