The Houston Rockets have fired coach Kevin McHale following a 4-7 start, according to a report by Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
J.B. Bickerstaff has been named interim head coach, according to the report.
McHale, 57, had Houston's coach since 2011. The Rockets made the playoffs three straight seasons and reached the Western Conference Finals last year.
