With February 23 trade deadline approaching, it is time to revisit the biggest trade in recent franchise history: the James Harden trade. I will once again be looking at the trade, it’s background, the current impact of the trade and what future effects it may have on the OKC Thunder franchise, including the Steven Adams factor.
For those who have forgotten the particulars of the trade, it was a two team trade involving the Thunder and the Rockets.
The net result of the trade is as follows.
Houston received James Harden, Cole Aldrich, Daequan Cook and Lazar Haywood.
