In its first game of the 2015 NBA Summer League in Orlando, the Thunder summer squad benefitted from 16 defensive rebounds from Mitch McGary and rookie Dakari Johnson and a double-double from Semaj Christon to defeat the Charlotte Hornets 76-74. The game featured 20 lead changes and 16 ties.
The Thunder's 2015 second-round draft pick, Johnson finished the game with a total of 11 boards. He admits there were some nerves in his NBA Summer League debut. "I was a little nervous but as the game went on it went really well. We've been practicing for a week together, so we were prepared and we tried to get better on the defensive end too.
