Waiters, remember, was the fourth pick only three years ago.

Even with a $5.1 million salary in what will be the final year of his rookie contract next season, Waiters turned out to be a steal for OKC. Say what you will about his season, his shot selection or his subpar efficiency. Waiters was unequivocally one of the best low-risk, high reward moves that general manager Sam Presti has ever made.
