Before descending upon Columbus, the members of Select '17 have one final shot at glory under the Friday night lights.
FIRST OF MANY
After opening the season with four-straight wins over nationally ranked out-of-state opponents, Las Vegas, Nevada, Bishop Gorman played its first game of the season against Nevada competition on Friday night. The Gaels rolled to a 42-0 win over Bonanza behind two touchdown passes from Ohio State commit Tate Martell and a defense that surrendered only six yards of total offense in the first half.
The game also marked the season debut of Buckeyes' pledge Tyjon Lindsey, who injured his collarbone in a preseason scrimmage after returning to Bishop Gorman from a brief stint at Centennial, California.
