Cardale Jones is my Tom Hanks.
Let me explain.
Just as Hanks has long been my go-to actor, I have used this space since last spring to push for Jones to be Ohio State’s leading man at quarterback.
Like Hanks, Jones is charismatic, delightfully silly and has proved to be at his best on the biggest stage, whether that be a Hollywood blockbuster or championship-level bowl game.
Hanks was sensational in Forrest Gump and Saving Private Ryan; Jones was fantastic against Gump’s college team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, and starred in Saving the Buckeyes’ 2014 Season.
