WDBJ-7's Alison Parker and Adam Ward are gone, but they won't be forgotten.
Virginia Tech announced Sunday that it would wear a special helmet decal honoring the shooting victims against Ohio State on Labor Day night.
On Thursday afternoon, it was announced Ohio State will join them:
“Ohio State expressed a desire to show its solidarity with Virginia Tech in remembering the vibrant lives of Alison Parker and Adam Ward,” Tech Director of Athletics Whit Babcock said in a release. “Coach Beamer and I both agreed it was a wonderful gesture on the part of Gene Smith, Urban Meyer, and the Buckeyes.
