BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Ohio State football team begins defense of its national championship tonight at 8 with a rematch against Virginia Tech.
After falling at home, 35-21, to the Hokies last season, Ohio State won 13 in a row, and the national championship. OSU quarterback J.T. Barrett has a photo of Lane Stadium as the background on his phone to remind him of what happened in 2014.
The Buckeyes are short-handed with top pass rusher Joey Bosa, and offensive threats Jalin Marshall, Corey Smith and Dontre Wilson all suspended for the game and Noah Brown out for the season after breaking his left leg last week.
