Emma Shumate will look for a new home in 2024.
The Ohio State redshirt sophomore announced Wednesday that she will enter the transfer portal after three seasons with the Buckeyes. She will have two years of eligibility remaining.

A Dresden, Ohio, native, Shumate spent the last three seasons at Ohio State. After a redshirt season in 2021-22 following her transfer from West Virginia, Shumate contributed off the bench in each of the past two seasons. She appeared in 58 games for the Buckeyes, averaging 2.
