Dontre Wilson was coach Urban Meyer’s prize recruit in the 2013 Ohio State recruiting class. He was to be the next Percy Harvin type of player that Urban had been looking for. A player who opposing defenses feared everytime he touched the ball. So far it just hasn’t been the case.
When Wilson first arrived on campus, the young player out of DeSoto, Texas impressed the Ohio State coaches and players with his speed and quickness. So much so that he saw significant playing time early on his freshman year.
Wilson showed promise that season rushing for 250 yards and averaging 8 yards a carry.
