Ohio State Football: Offensive Line Battle Will Be Interesting

Related Topics: Lineman (gridiron football)

Before National Signing day, it appeared that four of the positions on the Ohio State offensive line were probably set. Pat Elflein would move to center, Billy Price returns at left guard and it looked as though the two tackle positions had been filled as well. There would be a good battle at right guard and that was probably it. Then Malcolm Pridgeon signed and things got really interesting.

How could one recruit change everything so quickly. It can if the guy is 6’8” 315 pounds and has played both tackle positions in junior college. And as a JUCO transfer he was recruited to play right away for Ohio State, and not sit for a year like many offensive linemen do.
