Evan Turner Breaks Right Hand, Assists with Left and Wishes He Suffered the Injury Doing Something Cooler Like Dunking

Portland Trailblazers swingman Evan Turner fractured the third metacarpal in his right hand Tuesday night during the third quarter of an eventual 114-113 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

Turner fractured his hand guarding Harrison Barnes off the ball, but led the ensuing fast break and dropped a left-handed dime to Al-Farouq Aminu for an easy two points.

After the game, which moved the Blazers to 23-30 overall, Turner responded in the most E.T. way possible:

Turner referred multiple times to the injury as "janky," said he wishes he had broke it doing something cool like dunking
