LSU sophomore Leonard Fournette has taken off as the Heisman front runner. Through four games, Fournette has 864 yards, and has already eclipsed his freshman season touchdown total, with 11. LSU’s first game was rained out, but Fournette is still on pace for 2,376 yards and 30 touchdowns. Those numbers would likely be even gaudier if he had a chance to play against McNeese State. He’s not the only great SEC back: Georgia’s Nick Chubb is the model of consistency. Going back to last season, Chubb has rushed for over 100 yards in 13 straight games.
