NEW YORK -- At this time next year, Skal Labissiere will be making a lot more money than Trevor Thompson. But Thompson can always look back at the time that he helped Ohio State beat Kentucky, and played better than an NBA lottery pick.
Don't kid yourself about Labissiere. He didn't play well on Saturday, but he's going to the league and he'll go early in the draft. That should say a lot about the way Thompson, and freshman Daniel Giddens, performed on Saturday.
Kentucky has Labissiere, and other good big men in Alex Poythress and Marcus Lee.
