For the first time since March 28, 2010, the Ohio State baseball team is nationally-ranked
Knocking on the door for the last four weeks, Ohio State will enter May as a nationally-ranked baseball team, ending a five-year poll drought with a No. 25 ranking by D1Baseball. Receiving votes in each of the last three week's coaches and National College Baseball Writers Association polls, Ohio State emerges in the Top 25 25 after weekend sweep of Northwestern, setting the stage for a must-see weekend series in Columbus.
At 31-10 on the year, 12-3 in the Big Ten, the Buckeyes entrance into the polls is the culmination of a strong two-week run which has the team riding a seven-game winning streak.
