The Ohio women’s basketball team lost a tough battle against Kent State Saturday afternoon in the Convo in a game that had 10 lead changes and nine ties.

In the game, Ohio standout Quiera Lampkins continued a streak of scoring at least 15 points to the 11th consecutive game. She also recorded her 74th career double-double. Meanwhile, Ohio’s Jasmine Weatherspoon recorded her seventh double-digit scoring game.

After the game, head coach Bob Boldon expressed disappointment in the team’s defense. “Our defense isn’t very good right now,” he said. “It hasn’t been good, and I can’t remember the last time our defense was good.
