Ohio has a great kicker but would rather put up 7’s

Louie Zervos is one of the Ohio football team’s top performing players – and the Bobcats do not want to use him.

Zervos is a redshirt sophomore kicker for the Bobcats and was one of the most productive players for his position in the nation last season. His 29 field goals made and 35 field goals attempted led the nation and broke an NCAA record for most kicks made by a freshman. He went to Tarpon Springs (Florida) High School before coming to OU.

Having a kicker like Zervos is invaluable to the team, but the Bobcats feel that greater success can come from using him less often.
