Bobcats lose to EMU amid problems on both sides of the ball

The Ohio Bobcats (4-3, 2-1 MAC) suffered their first conference loss of the season on Saturday, losing 27-20 to the Eastern Michigan Eagles (5-2, 2-1 MAC) at Peden Stadium.

The two teams kicked a combined eight punts on 15 possessions in the first half. Both offenses played sluggish as a pair of field goals left the score tied at 3-3 entering halftime.

Quarterback Quinton Maxwell played the entire second half for the Bobcats after redshirt senior quarterback Greg Windham was pulled due to ineffectiveness. Windham struggled to move the offense down the field, throwing for just 103 yards on 9 of 17 passing attempts.
