Las Vegas wants the Raiders to become a big-league city, but it always has attracted sporting events, such as NASCAR, NBA Summer League, college basketball tournaments and PGA, rugby, rodeo competitions.
Las Vegas is the home to prize fights, Ultimate Fighting Championship and regular tour stops by the PGA and LPGA. It plays host to the National Rodeo finals and the Professional Bull Riders world finals.
