Streater 'in a tough situation' as odd Raiders WR out

ALAMEDA –It wasn’t long ago that Rod Streater was the Raiders’ leading receiver. He had 888 receiving yards in 2013 while catching passes from Terrelle Pryor, Matt McGloin and Matt Flynn

Streater spent most of last year on the shelf nursing a foot fractured in Week 3. His return this season was slowed by prolonged illness in training camp, an absence that put him behind in a competitive position group. He never got back in the mix.

Streater played 10 offensive snaps in Week 1 and none since, typically ending up inactive on game day. The offense features Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree, Seth Roberts in the slot and Andre Holmes in reserve.
